It really got in depth with one of Disney's best movies. We were also able to understand how people thought of Disney and his movies during the time period he was alive. This artical also helped us understand what Cinderella was like for the people back then and how they viewed it.

This newspaper report on Walt Disney's father,Elias, helped us because it gave us the date of his death. It also provided information about what Walt was doing when he died. Lastly it informed us that Elias was 83 years old.
Litwaklos, Leo E. "A Fantasy that Paid Off." The New York Times 27 June 1965: 1-5. Print. This newspaper helped us get a full image on what Walt Disney Land ment to the people back then. It also descibed how the park looked so we were able to think about some of walts creations in the rides while reading. We also liked how the author describes the scene and how it felt. The way the author describes Walt's park in a way that children see it, and that is exactly the prespective we wanted.

This article had a quote that we used part of in our thesis statement. the quote was " I was a corny guy so I went for corn."- Walt Disney. We interpreted "corn" to be success and that's what Walt got. We added this quote in because it resembled that Walt was the right person, with the right thing, at the right time, and that was the point we wanted to get across.

It describes the magical feelings and parts of some of Disney's best creations. While doing all of this the article holds Disney in the highest respect mentioning what he has done for the world of film making. We loved this article because it showed the impact that Walt Disney had on the world. Lastly it explained respectfully why Disney made history.

We loved how it described him exactly the way he was, fun yet almost childish. The way the article described Walt really got us to know what he was like so we could include that in our website.

Even though Walt Disney had died when the Lion King was made this article helped us understand the film making process. Lion King was also one of Disney's well known movies so we felt we should mention it. Lastly we included it because it was resembled Walt had taught his producers well and they continued to be inspired by him even after he died.
